The United Nations Urges Unimpeded Aid Access in War-Torn Sudan
The United Nations has issued a plea for the warring factions in Sudan to allow unimpeded access for the delivery of much-needed aid to the country. After nearly a year of conflict between army chief Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and his former deputy, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Sudan is facing a dire humanitarian crisis with the looming threat of famine.
