RIYADH: Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, minister of sports and president of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, approved the formation of the Saudi Boxing Federation’s board of directors on Thursday. Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh will chair the board, which was formed in a step that marks an important move to enhance Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global sports stage and develop the sport of boxing locally, said a media statement.
