Saudi Tourism Fund partners with Minor Hotels for top brand development

Date:

Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Development Fund has partnered with the Minor Hotels Group to develop mountain destinations, health resorts, and urban hotels in the country. The memorandum of understanding was signed during the International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, and aims to establish a prolonged strategic relationship between the two organizations. The new developments will begin in the second half of 2023, and will include the debut of Minor Hotels’ modern Avani Hotels & Resorts in the Kingdom, as well as locations from Thai brand Anantara, luxury firm Tivoli, and modern accommodation provider Oaks. The Tourism Development Fund drives investments and attracts direct funding into the hospitality and tourism sector by linking private organizations with financing opportunities in the Kingdom. With over 40,000 rooms under construction as of March, Saudi Arabia is the region’s leader in hotel building activity.
