BEIRUT: Issa Al-Qazaqza, a Jordanian globetrotter, has embarked on a cycling trip to spread a message of love and peace among Arab Gulf states and promote tourism. After traveling from Saudi Arabia, he has now reached Qatar.

Al-Qazaqza, speaking over the phone from Doha, Qatar’s capital, stated that his personally initiated cycling trip aims to spread love and peace among Arab brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and promote Jordanian hospitality and tourism. He entered Saudi Arabia on July 18 and visited Tabuk and Madinah.
A Journey of Passion
This is not Al-Qazaqza’s first cycling trip. In 2005, he completed his first lengthy cycling journey, covering 420 km from the northern city of Irbid to Jordan’s southern seaport city of Aqaba. Inspired by his previous experiences, Al-Qazaqza decided to embark on this journey across the GCC states to spread a message of love and peace while promoting Jordanian tourism.

During his three weeks in Saudi Arabia, Al-Qazaqza visited many cities and landmarks. He explored places like AlUla, Al-Ahsa, Al-Sharqiya, Riyadh, and performed Umrah in Madinah and Makkah. After traveling through Saudi Arabia’s Salwa border point on August 1, Al-Qazaqza successfully reached Qatar. Upon his arrival, he visited the Jordanian Embassy in Doha and met with members of the diplomatic staff.
