Harry and Meghan pursued by paparazzi in car chase

According to a spokesperson for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and her mother, they were involved in a dangerous car chase with paparazzi in New York City. The incident occurred after the couple attended an awards ceremony on Tuesday evening. The spokesperson stated that the paparazzi were “highly aggressive” and pursued the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Doria Ragland for over two hours. The chase resulted in multiple near collisions with other drivers and pedestrians, as well as two NYPD officers. The NYPD did not immediately comment on the incident. New York City Mayor Eric Adams called the chase “reckless and irresponsible” and expressed concern for the safety of the officers involved. Harry and Meghan have previously launched legal cases against British newspaper publishers for alleged invasions of privacy. Harry has also blamed the media for the death of his mother, Princess Diana, who was killed in a car crash while being chased by photographers in Paris in 1997.
