GTA V PS5: Explore Exclusive Expanded & Enhanced Features!

Date:

Rockstar Games has recently released a patch for Grand Theft Auto V, which is available on almost all platforms. The patch was released on February 28, 2023, and aims to improve the game’s safety features. The company has also updated the game for PC earlier this month with a patch that strengthened its safety features. Now, as February 2023 comes to an end, Rockstar has released a more significant title update for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to address minor issues in the game.

The latest update, version 1.66, is a formal title update for GTA V that does not add any new features compared to previous patches. The purpose of this update is to fix a few bugs that have been discovered on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series X editions, as well as to provide “stability improvements” for all versions of the game. Since GTA Online is a persistent live service of Grand Theft Auto V, many of the updates introduced in this patch are also related to it.

The expanded and enhanced exclusive features of GTA 5 include graphics improvements such as ray-traced reflections, texture and draw distance upgrades, HDR options, faster loading times utilizing next-gen SSDs, increased population and traffic variety, improved lighting quality, new anti-aliasing and motion-blur methods, and new explosions and fire effects. The game also has three graphics modes: Fidelity Mode, Performance Mode, and Performance RT mode.

The Fidelity Mode offers native 4K resolution at 30 fps with ray tracing enabled on PS4 Xbox Series X (Upscaled 4K resolution for Series S). The Performance Mode provides upscaled 4K resolution at 60 fps on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X (1080p for Series S). The Performance RT mode is a hybrid of the Fidelity and Performance modes, offering 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled and targeting 60 FPS.

The PS5 DualSense enhancements include haptic feedback on PlayStation 5’s DualSense wireless controller that responds to weather. Platform-specific features include Tempest 3D positional audio on PlayStation 5 and Spatial Sound on Xbox Series X/S.

The Career Builder feature offers GTA $4,000,000 and Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, or Biker starting points. Each choice includes relevant Business Properties upgrade packages and optional vehicles and weapons. Hao’s Special Works is an exclusive auto shop located in the LS Car Meet that offers exclusive upgrades for select vehicles, weekly rotation of Premium Test Rides, five exclusive vehicles that are only available on next-gen, and “HSW Elite” livery for all HSW-tuned vehicles.

In conclusion, Rockstar Games has released a patch for Grand Theft Auto V that aims to improve the game’s safety features. The latest update, version 1.66, fixes a few bugs that have been discovered on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series X editions and provides “stability improvements” for all versions of the game. The expanded and enhanced exclusive features of GTA 5 include graphics improvements, three graphics modes, PS5 DualSense enhancements, platform-specific features, Career Builder, and Hao’s Special Works.
