He stressed the necessity of a “Palestinian national consensus” among all political forces and urged all factions to work towards unity.

Fattouh appealed to the Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements to join the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) within the framework of its political program, aiming to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He emphasized the significance of ending the war and facilitating the return of displaced Palestinians to their homeland.

Furthermore, Fattouh called for an international conference to be held within a specific timeframe to achieve a two-state solution. He underscored the responsibility of the international community in taking decisive action to halt the war, ensure the unconditional withdrawal of occupation forces from Gaza, and put an end to repeated Israeli aggression in the West Bank.
