He also revealed that he had offers from another European team but decided to leave Europe and enjoy his day-to-day life more in MLS. Messi is expected to earn the individual accolade once more after leading Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar in December 2022. Reports suggest that key MLS sponsors, including sportswear brand Adidas and Apple TV, may be contributing to his deal.
