“KAPSARC Academy’s First Graduating Class”

The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center recently held a ceremony to celebrate the graduation of the first batch of its Public Leadership Executive Program. The program, offered by KAPSARC Academy in partnership with the International Institute for Management Development, is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. It aims to prepare young Saudis to contribute to the goals of Vision 2030 and support the national workforce in the energy sector. Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, who is also the board chairman of the center, attended the ceremony. The academy’s president, Fahd Alajlan, stated that it was inspired by the prince’s passion for innovation, education, and human capital development. The academy focuses on enhancing leadership skills and equipping professionals with the necessary skills for future public policymaking roles. The eight-month program includes lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions. The first batch consisted of 36 graduates.
