West Ham and Fiorentina will face off in the Europa Conference League final in Prague, with one of the teams set to end their 50-year drought without a European trophy. West Ham captain Declan Rice, who is expected to leave the club after the season, called it the “biggest match that the club has had in so long.” West Ham’s only European title came in 1965, while Fiorentina won the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1961. Fiorentina have become the first club to contest a final in four major continental competitions. The winner of the final will also earn a berth in the Europa League next season.
