Voting underway for cantonment board elections throughout nation

ISLAMABAD: Voting is underway in 41 cantonment boards throughout Pakistan amid strict safety on Sunday.

The polling course of started at 8am and can proceed till 5pm with none pause.

 1,560 candidates are contesting towards one another in 206 wards within the cantonment boards. However, seven candidates have been elected unopposed up to now.

Therefore, of the 114 of Punjab’s cantonment boards, polling will happen in 110, the Election Commission stated.
