The Late Exhibitmay perhaps have paused for Thanksgiving, but impeachment news by no means sleeps.
In the clip previously mentioned, Stephen Colbert returns with an update – employing the intelligence committee’s impeachment report as a launching platform for a particularly brutal burn off.
“Just before the intelligence committee produced their report, the GOP issued their very own prebuttal, in which they concluded that Trump was performing on legitimate and realistic skepticism of Ukraine,” claims Colbert. “Of course, because the two words and phrases every person takes advantage of to describe Donald Trump are ‘genuine’ and ‘reasonable.’ Appropriate soon after ‘athletic’ and ‘monogamous.’
