Sex/Life, a romantic drama series, follows the lives of its characters as they navigate their relationships, family, profession, and identity. The series is led by Sarah Shahi, who plays Billie Connelly, a former party girl turned trapped suburban housewife. Billie is married to Cooper Connelly, played by Mike Vogel, who is a financial genius in New York City. However, Billie is growing tired of her routine and begins having fantasies about her ex-boyfriend Brad Simon, played by Adam Demos. Mike Vogel’s character, Cooper, is a classic Good Guy who is trying to understand why his wife is unhappy in their marriage. Adam Demos’ character, Brad, is a music producer who can’t get enough of Billie but also has a sensitive side.
Margaret Odette plays Sasha Snow, Billie’s best friend who represents the alternative because she lives a carefree life as a single woman in New York City. She becomes the face of a new feminist movement with her book The Third Way. Li Jun Li plays Francesca, Cooper’s employer who gets too cozy with him in the first season. Jonathan Sadowski plays Devon, Cooper’s raunchiest coworker who serves as his personal devil.
Creator Stacy Rukeyser says that Sex/Life gives her a thrilling chance to reveal the truth about our lives and the decisions we all make in relationships, family, profession, and identity. The series is all about satisfying our desires and features hunky men and women that populate the second season of this love drama. The series premieres on March 2 and promises to be an exciting ride for viewers.
