CAIRO (Reuters) – The Saudi-led coalition forces fighting in Yemen late on Sunday intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone fired by Iran-aligned Houthis focusing on Saudi Arabia’s southern location, Saudi state news company (SPA) claimed.
The coalition experienced said previously that it intercepted and destroyed a further explosive-laden drone over Yemeni airspace that Houthis fired in the direction of Saudi Arabia, (SPA) reported.
A Houthi army spokesman claimed on Sunday it launched an assault with drones on Saudi Abha Worldwide Airport. It aimed at “military web pages and sensitive targets,” which had been precisely hit, spokesman Yahya Sarea stated.
The coalition has not talked about an attack on Abha Intercontinental airport.
