CAIRO (Reuters) – The Saudi-led coalition forces combating in Yemen late on Sunday intercepted and wrecked an explosive-laden drone fired by Iran-aligned Houthis concentrating on Saudi Arabia’s southern area, Saudi state information company (SPA) mentioned.
The coalition experienced mentioned before that it intercepted and wrecked a different explosive-laden drone over Yemeni airspace that Houthis fired in the direction of Saudi Arabia, (SPA) described.
A Houthi navy spokesman said on Sunday it introduced an attack with drones on Saudi Abha Global Airport. It aimed at “military web sites and delicate targets,” which ended up correctly hit, spokesman Yahya Sarea claimed.
The coalition has not described an assault on Abha Intercontinental airport.
