Saudi Finance Minister emphasizes need for increased economic integration among Arab nations

During the 32nd Arab League Summit hosted by Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan emphasized the importance of economic integration among Arab nations, increased cooperation, and sustainable economic and financial models. He believes that these measures will help to enhance resilience in the Arab world in the face of challenges and risks. Al-Jadaan welcomed Syria’s return to the Arab League and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to ensuring economic stability in the region through multiple initiatives and programs. He also noted the Kingdom’s collaboration with Arab Coordination Group institutions to enhance food security and address debt challenges through the Common Framework for Debt Treatments. Al-Jadaan expressed his hope for enhanced collaborations between member states to advance pan-Arab economic and social integration, underscoring the importance of continued progress in this field.
