Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Sunday attacked the Centre over rise in gas costs, saying individuals are struggling resulting from inflation, whereas the Modi authorities is busy in tax assortment.
The former Congress chief’s assault got here a day after petrol and diesel costs within the nation touched new all-time highs after charges have been elevated for the fourth time within the week.
“Modi ji has brought about tremendous growth in GDP — gas, diesel and petrol — prices,” Gandhi stated in a tweet in Hindi.

“People are suffering due to inflation, while the Modi government is busy in tax collection,” he alleged.

The enhance in costs took the petrol worth in Delhi to Rs 85.70 per litre and in Mumbai to Rs 92.28.

Diesel charge climbed to Rs 75.88 a litre within the nationwide capital and to Rs 82.66 per litre in Mumbai, the value information confirmed.
