Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Government of Italy, is organizing the 7th Grand National Olive Gala 2025 at F-9 Park, Islamabad, under the auspices of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSR) and the OliveCulture ScaleUp Project.
The three-day event will showcase Pakistan’s growing olive industry, bringing together farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers from across the country.
This initiative reflects the continued cooperation between Pakistan and Italy to advance sustainable agriculture, enhance value addition, and promote climate-resilient rural development.
Supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented through CIHEAM Bari, the OliveCulture ScaleUp Project aims to strengthen every link of the olive value chain—from cultivation and processing to marketing and export—while empowering women and youth in olive-producing regions.
Officials noted that the Olive Gala will serve as a national platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and policy dialogue, helping to further position Pakistan as a competitive player in the regional olive market.
