New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval attended a digital meet of high safety officers from Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa (BRICS) grouping on Thursday to debate an anti-terrorism draft technique which is prone to be accepted at an upcoming summit.The assembly exchanged views on combating terrorism and extremism apart from deliberating on world and regional safety points, in accordance with particulars supplied by a Russian official. “On Sept 17, the Russian Chairmanship held the 10th Meeting of #BRICS National Security Advisors. Challenges and threats to global, regional and national security were discussed,” the Russian Embassy in India mentioned in a tweet.

The 10th assembly of the NSAs, hosted by the present chair of BRICS Russia, was attended by China’s State Councillor Yang Jiechi and senior safety officers from Brazil and South Africa, officers mentioned.
According to a launch, the events exchanged views on key points of world and regional safety, mentioned the primary areas of sensible cooperation within the area of safety amongst legislation enforcement businesses of the member nations.
Earlier in September, External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar participated within the BRICS Foreign Ministers meet. The leaders’ summit is predicted to happen in October however no date has been introduced but for it.
BRICS represents over 3.6 billion folks and have a mixed GDP of $16.6 trillion.
