IndiGo passenger says he’s COVID optimistic; airline offloads him at Delhi airport

In a weird incident, a male passenger on a Pune-bound IndiGo flight was offloaded on the Delhi airport on Thursday night after he advised cabin crew that he was coronavirus optimistic simply because the plane was getting ready for take-off, in response to sources.

The incident occurred on IndiGo flight 6E286 at round 5:30 pm on Thursday because the aircraft was preparing for take-off to Pune.

The sources mentioned the passenger knowledgeable the cabin crew that he has examined optimistic for coronavirus, following which the plane returned to the bay and the individual was offloaded.

After fumigation, the plane took off for Pune at round 7 pm, one of many sources mentioned.

A senior Delhi Police official mentioned it has not acquired any grievance from the airline in regards to the incident to this point.
