  1. Great summary Tom, thanks. I love the design inside and out and it’s definitely on my list for next year. Disappointing to hear about the interior colour choices, I thought I’d seen some light colours in the worldwide release videos. Any official word on why we get limited options? Same as Kia with the new Sorento, there were some gorgeous tan leather promo shots (even used by Kia Australia’s marketing) but black leather is the only option for the GT-Line.

  2. I love hyundai this design but I dont know if its just me, hyundai copies some from either bmw or mercedes, driver dash is mercedes, centre control is from tesla n back tail light from peugeot. There is no originality in hyundai.

  3. Super ugly exterior . Specially design not details . Front styling and rear styling is just fantastic but too overdone . Side profile is disaster but Proportion is excellent though . Interior is nice.

  4. Three of the other well known Australian car channels also had videos of this Tucson but they had bugger all info in 3-4 minute glorified ads. Unsubscribed from those useless channels.

  5. Front and back are nice, except for emblem in the rear window. The side profile just looks like it‘s been t-boned twice. And as much as I understand the dislike of tablet-like screens, integrating them just creates these super bulbous center consoles that, to me at least, are a much bigger eyesore.

Also, 8:18 – always makes me chuckle seeing Hyundai using German plated cars for their press footage, especially outside of Europe. Makes you wonder if they are trying to appear more European?

  6. Being boring old fart, the many different angles everywhere on the suv flanks maybe a little over the top. Front an rear are very good. Overall it could be called fresh and very new but may age quickly. Once again, best viewed in the flesh. Maybe more quickly than the older but safer designs. Front dash is good with centre console very nice. Nah, like to have a lever for my gear shift duties. The hoodless appearance of the driver gauges etc is a big whopping no.
