WILMINGTON, Del. (Reuters) – Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden claimed on Tuesday he will consider inquiring for a classified briefing on allegations that Russia provided bounties for the killing of American troops in Afghanistan.
Democratic lawmakers are trying to get a lot more details on the promises, right after the New York Times described that President Donald Trump had gained a published intelligence briefing on the suspected Russian plan in late February.
“If it does not get cleared up speedily, I will seek out and request if I can be briefed,” Biden reported in the course of a press briefing in Wilmington, Delaware.
