Liberal CNN commentator Angela Rye had a fiery exchange with a Republican strategist throughout a panel discussion Monday evening, telling him that “white males who believe like you” are the “greatest terrorist risk in this country.”
The discussion commenced when GOP campaign veteran Patrick Griffin argued that President Trump really should “participate in the lottery” since Reps. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., brought new awareness to their marriage with Isreal.
Having said that, Rye appeared to take offense immediately after Griffin claimed that the “Squad” has “hijacked” the Democratic Bash from Dwelling Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
“It’s so fascinating that you use the time period — the only two Muslim women of all ages in Congress, the term you chose to use, sir, is ‘hijacking,’” Rye reported.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not they’re Muslim or not,” Griffin responded. “Nothing to do with that… They have hijacked from their individual rules.”
“That’s a actual attention-grabbing phrase decision, and you understand why,” Rye talked over the panelist. “You can speak more than me all you want to but the base line is the finest terrorist threat in this region is white adult males, white gentlemen who imagine like you. That is the biggest terrorist menace in this place.”
Griffin dismissed her remarks as “foolish rhetoric.”
“No, it can be not!” Rye shot back again. “You know what is actually silly? The truth that you happen to be on in this article understanding how dangerous situations are ideal now defending this nonsense.”
