Celine Dion, the renowned pop icon, has cancelled all her remaining shows for 2023-24 due to her ongoing battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that affects her singing. In a tearful video posted on Instagram in December 2022, the Canadian singer revealed that the disorder was causing muscle spasms, which prevented her from using her vocal cords to sing as she normally would. Dion’s “Courage World Tour” began in 2019, and she completed 52 shows before the pandemic put the remainder on hold. She later cancelled the North American section of the tour due to her health problems. The cancellations will affect her 16-country tour in Europe, which was due to start in August and conclude with two dates at the O2 arena in London in April next year. Despite the disappointment of fans, they have expressed their support and wished Dion well.
