Apple Releases tvOS 16.3.3 – Get Ready for the Latest Update!

Date:

Apple has recently released tvOS 16.3.3, which addresses a problem that has been affecting the third-generation Apple TV 4K. This comes just a few weeks after the release of tvOS 16.3.2, which was designed to address failed Siri requests. The latest update automatically applies fixes, so users can easily get it wirelessly by going to the Settings app, selecting System, and then selecting Software Update. If the feature is enabled in tvOS, it can also be installed automatically.

According to Apple’s release notes for tvOS 16.3.3, the update “fixes an issue where the Siri Remote can become unresponsive on Apple TV 4K (3rd generation).” While the company may have also made standard performance and stability upgrades, there is no mention of them in the release notes.

Apple has already entered beta testing for tvOS 16.4, which is expected to be released this spring, along with iOS and iPadOS 16.4. However, some users have expressed disappointment with the latest release, citing Apple’s slow response, lack of communication, and the fact that the update isn’t currently accessible on their devices, among other issues.

It is currently unknown whether or not the fix is effective, as none of Macworld’s writers have encountered the bug. However, it is always recommended to keep your devices up-to-date with the latest software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
